BriefVision is designed for legal, evidential and confidential case material. The platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure and uses enterprise-grade security controls to help protect uploaded documents, extracted text, search indexes and AI-assisted analysis.

Your Case Data Is Not Used to Train AI Models

When BriefVision uses Azure OpenAI, your prompts, outputs, embeddings and case material are not used to train, retrain or improve Azure OpenAI foundation models. Your data is processed to provide the BriefVision service and is not made available to other customers or to OpenAI for model training.

Secure Cloud Hosting

BriefVision’s production platform is built on Azure using security-focused design principles, including controlled access, encrypted communications, secure storage and separation of customer data. Sensitive material remains within the configured environment, accessible only by authorised users.

Search and AI with Privacy Controls

Platform search indexes and AI services are used to organise and analyse case material without training Microsoft AI models. Application logging is designed to avoid storing sensitive content, prompts, or outputs unless required for audit or diagnostic workflows.

Controlled Retention of Sensitive Data

BriefVision minimizes unnecessary retention of sensitive processing data. Diagnostic info is limited by default, and diagnostic material is treated as case-sensitive, managed through strict access, retention, and deletion controls to preserve confidentiality.

BriefVision uses Azure search and AI services to organise, extract, search and analyse case material. Search indexes, documents and queries are used to operate the configured service, not to train Microsoft AI models.

Application logging is designed to avoid storing sensitive case content, raw document text, AI prompts, AI outputs or search queries unless this is specifically required for an agreed support, audit or diagnostic workflow.

Diagnostic information is limited by default, and where more detailed data is required for support or investigation, it is treated as case-sensitive material and managed through appropriate access, retention and deletion controls.
